Beautiful Wrought Iron home decor piece.

Wrought Iron handicraft also known as “Pitva Art “ is an Ancient artform, made by a very small Tribal community of Bastar, Chhattisgarh.

Iron is cut manually by chisel and hammer and heated by charcoal. Mostly all the human and animal figures and made of single piece of sheet by manual hammering work of a hot metal piece. When you touch and feel the product you can see the hardwork behind each and every piece. Each and Every piece is unique and tells the story of  tribal artwork.

Upon finish, every piece is treated with Red oxide to avoid Rust in future and then 3 layer of oil paint (Mat Finish) will be done to finish the product.

For the maintenance, in long run we recommend to clean the artifact with few drops of any oil in cotton cloth. Gently clean it with oil wet cloth and it will look all new again and again. Each and every piece will last for lifetime.
